Where the name comes from

A city that
weaves with gold.

Banaras, now Varanasi, has been running real gold and silver zari through silk for centuries. The warp is strung tight, the shuttle carries the weft across, and a border appears one pick at a time. That is the tradition on the sign out front.

Done on site, so nothing has to leave the building. 04 Dupattas & accessories Bangles, bindis, stoles, clutches and costume jewellery to finish an outfit. 05 Attar & perfume A shelf of bottled attar and fragrance, the way a Banaras shop has always kept one. 06 Occasion dressing Bridal, mehndi, sangeet, puja and graduation. Come in with the date and someone will walk the racks with you.
